Paris, France
Spend a summer in the iconic city of Paris, France with AIFS! Earn up to 11 credits as you study a variety of academic program options at the Institut de Langue et de Culture Française (ILCF), a department of the highly respected Catholic University of Paris. Located near the Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, ILCF welcomes 2,500 students every year. 

Courses are taught in English and French, with no previous French language study required.

Choose from the French Language Program or the combination French Language and Culture Program. French language courses are mandatory on all programs and offered at all levels from Beginner to Superior. Electives are taught in English.

Live in a double room in a Parisian homestay (additional housing options are available). Students receive daily breakfast and a meal allowance.

Cultural activities include:
  • half-day sightseeing in Paris
  • visits to museums and monuments
  • walking tours
  • visits outside Paris
  • a Bateaux-Mouches boat trip
  • group dinners
  • and more
Optional excursions include a 2-day trip to Normandy and Brittany and a 2-day trip to Châteaux of the Loire Valley. For students on the optional AIFS Flight Package, a 2-night tour of London is included.
